Centrally placed in Mount Street, 4 minutes from the major town amenities and easy walking distance to the County Cricket Ground, The Brewhouse Theatre (small intimate theatre with visits from well known artists) Somerset County Museum, Vivary Golf Club, Kings College, Queens College, Somerset College of Arts and Technology, Taunton Antiques Centre and Musgrove Park Hospital. A few minutes drive to Taunton Race Course, Taunton Polo Club, Taunton School and Wellington School.

The Garden

Lyndale is adjacent to Vivary Park, Taunton’s award winning municipal gardens and home of the Nationally Acclaimed Taunton Flower Show. There are tennis courts within the park and the 18 hole golf course is next to them (pay and play). Either walk the road to town, the path to the park or the lane to the fields and friendly cows.

Mount Street is undoubtedly in one of Taunton's most highly favoured residential areas with a village atmosphere to it. Taunton, the county town of Somerset has excellent high street shopping, There is access to the M5 motorway at J25 Blackbrook, Taunton giving fast and easy access to Exeter, Bristol and London and also has a main line railway link to London, providing fast trains to London Paddington scheduled to arrive within an hour and forty five minutes. The area is well known for its ranges of hills, including the Blackdown Hills with good riding and walking country within a few minutes drive, also the Brendons, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park.
